Database Administrator: Develop, implement, and maintain database management systems, servers, and solutions. Plan, coordinate, and implement security measures to safeguard information in computer files against accidental or unauthorized damage, modification, or disclosure. Review database procedures and recommend changes that will increase the security of information. Approve, schedule, plan, and supervise the installation and testing of new products and improvements to computer systems, such as the installation of new databases or hardware, to protect vulnerable information. Code logical and physical database descriptions and parameters and specify database identifiers. Create, administer, maintain, and load-test highly available and scalable MySQL clusters, cluster databases, and database servers. Develop methods for high-speed transaction recovery techniques including disaster recovery, database planning, and replication of MySQL clusters across multiple security groups. Create methods for integrating different products, such as customizing commercial databases to fit company-specific needs. Develop test plans to test and debug solutions and modify systems, scripts, and utilities as needed. Monitor and analyze database performance to identify areas for optimization to enhance the efficiency of the database. Define customer access and enable data distribution to the correct user in a timely manner. Provide proactive and reactive data management support and training to customers. Maintain comprehensive documentation of database configuration, processes, and procedures. Stay abreast of the latest technological advances and industry trends in database systems management and information technology.
Requirements: The position requires an Associate’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field and two years of experience in the job offered or a related position. The position requires skills and knowledge in MySQL, JavaScript, JQuery, PHP, Congos metadata.
